Learning for Change believes that capitalization’s journey starts with gathering people together to share their experience. Identifying and collecting lessons learnt from a humanitarian or development programme can sometimes be challenging depending on the programme’s context and thematic.

Learning for Change will support your teams to go through each steps of sharing lessons learnt and good practices using a variety of tools and methods that fits with the programmes’ shape and timeline. Focusing on being able to describe what’s work and what doesn’t in order to replicate good practice and adjust programming, Learning for Change will work closely with all the projects stakeholders to:

  • Review and analyse programme/project documentation : Theory of change, Logical framework, Monitoring plan, Evaluation plan, Results Indicators Framework etc.
  • Define or Refine subjects matter/learning questions
  • Identify and described enabling and challenging factors to achieve sustainable change in an accountable way towards the communities at the center of each project or programme
  • Gather complementary data through interview, focus group, or any relevant data collection methods
  • Analyze knowledge produced and provide recommendations focusing on accountability and quality
  • Produce knowledge products to share lessons learnt and good practice with target audience
  • Work closely with communication dept. to shape contents and deliver it in the most relevant and efficient way

Resilience Plus: Providing Cash & Voucher Assistance support to the most vulnerable households facing the twin shock of Covid19 pandemic and monsoon season in Nepal

Supporting the preparation of knowledge products highlighting how the Resilience Plus programme’s focus on working through local partners, local bank branches and local government enabled the project to more effectively deliver cash and voucher assistance in an accountable way. Knowledge products will be used both internally within the organisation for future CVA programming, but also to provide both guidance for other organisations within Nepal, and as an advocacy tool for the government, to encourage the institutionalisation of the project’s approaches to CVA with social protection schemes.
